1996 GSX overheating??

I have a 1996 GSX that I have had numerous problems with the past two summers.
My main problem right now is (I think) overheating/no power.

I have noticed that the clear vinyl tube that runs from the bottom of the motor (i think/cannot see or reach it) back to the exaust (resinator?)
is plugged with dirt.
I do not have any idea how much it has to do with cooling but I cannot get to eother end to remove the hose and clear.

HELP PLEASE!!!

hey jeff,....do you notice if water is exiting out the tell-tale hole, (back of boat, little stream by ring)

yes there is, I am not sure how strong it is supposed to be though.
It comes out at a pretty steady stream shooting out about a foot when going.

My concern was the clear tube that runs from the bottom of the motor to the main exaust. That hose is full of dirt and I cannot get to it on either end.
