1996 Challenger shuts off!

1996 Seadoo Challenger, I'm having an issue with it shutting down. Today it ran fine for 10-15 minutes. Then when I was heading into the beach, it dies. Like I pulled the key off. The key was still firmly in place. Start it back up, throttle up, 1.75 seconds of throttle and it dies again in the same fashion. Does this several times. The only way to keep it running is to throttle up just over idle and put put back to shore.

Good compression in both cylinders 150, 152. Fresh plugs Br8es 3961, carbs rebuilt last season, jet pump rebuilt... even got the seats reupholstered.

What, should I check next?

Touch-up your carb idle adjustment setting maybe:

When it dies do you wiggle your key then it starts back up? Does it sputter at all when it dies?
