Hello, Im looking to get new spark plug wires for my 1996 Seadoo challenger as a part of the complete restoration, i noticed that the spark plug wires have 2 different part numbers MAG wire being 278000322 and PTO wire being 278002198. what is the difference between the part numbers from factory? I was just planning on getting a kit from osd part that included the wires and plugs (OSD4727wCAPS)

Thank you in advance!

Unless the wire is cut thru, just leave the wire alone. These are not like a cars with spiral wound wires. These are actually multiple stands of wire. They don't break down like a cars wires. Been messing with seadoos since the 90's and have never once replaced a wire.

Well ideally I wouldn’t want to change them, but last year while trying to get the boat working with a buddy, i told to trim the wires a little back and rescew on the caps... he trimmed them a little too far and now they wont reach.

The PTO wire might be a few inches longer, since it's plug is a few inches further from the MPEM.
That's the only "difference" I could see, between the wires.
