1995 xp & gtx

atriot:just bought these seadoo's and was wondering if someone could help me identify the engine's. hull id is zznc1860k495
and the other is zzn62439b595. the xp has an engine number on it that starts with either a 6 or an 8 then 023230.

that was quick, thanks , one other thing, would you know the hp on these motors. I know my son is gonna ask.
PS , I get the xp he can run the gtx LMAO

I will be back . fair warning, LOL, both boats do not run at this time. I bought them both for $100.00. they came with nice trailers and I ran the vins off the titles and they are cool to the touch, LOL!! I hope you can put up with a 64 yr old asking questions frequently......

The 717 has around 85 HP and the 657 has around 80. The pump HP is 31.5 for the XP and 31.1 for the GTX.

They are pretty close. But the Xp will go faster.

by chance, does your XP have 2 black caps with red dots in middle. If so, thats an 787/800cc=110hp

He is talking about the RAVE valves. There are two black caps each with a red adjuster in the middle of them mounted on top of the engine. They only made a limited number of the XP800 with the RAVE valves and the 787 for that year.

If your XP body is all yellow with some pink, it's a 787.
If it's white & yellow, it's a 717.
