HELP....Clearly I'm a newbie to this...I just took on a 95 Speedster-had the carbs cleaned-took it out and all was good until i decided to coast up to the beach...no waves and seemed like a good idea at the time- well, murphys law and a set of waves set me parallel and broke what i believe to be the reverse cable lever. Just the actual lever which i've since ordered. I was hoping someone could ease my mind that nothing else was damaged. Since the "incident" reverse is next to nothing but anything past 1/2 throttle (if that) results in high rpm's and nothing more. I'm still waiting for the part to out it to the test but I've been stressing over this. Nothing else was visibly impacted so I think I'm ok but thoughts and comments are all appreciated.
Also the vinyl on the seats is showing wear and I'm contemplating doing the reupholstry myself. Am i asking for trouble or are there more bolts that I'm missing?
Thanks!
