1995 Seadoo Xp

I just bought a 95 xp720 I took it out for the first time on the weekend and started fine ran fine but wouldnt move, I took it out of the water and brought it home hooked the hose up to it and looked up the to see the impellar and It wasnt turning idling or reving it up. So I tore into it lastnight and nor the splines on the shaft or the impellar seem to be burred at all Any HELP WOULD BE GREAT THANKS

I'm not sure if I'm reading your thread right but it seems your saying that the impeller isn't turning while the motor is running. If this is the case, then you have to have a shaft that is stripped out. But even so, normalliy it will free wheel out of the water.

If your impeller is spinning but you can't get the ski to move while your in the water, the wearing ring is shot. You can use our search engine with the key word "wearing ring" and come up with many, many threads on this subject.:cheers:

You are reading it rite but one question if the wear ring is worn wouldnt it move some, and could it be the PTO like I said not really familier with how this works. thanks
