I have a 1995 seadoo xp. My questiion is when I go to start it, it cranks 2 or 3 times and then stops cranking. I replaced my spark plugs, I still have the same issue. When I pull the plugs to look at them the gap is closed with oil.
What do you think has happened? Is This normal? How do I verify I am getting a spark to my plugs through my wires? How do I verify I am getting fuel to the carbs? Could I please pick someones brain as I am trying to resolve this issue and get out on the lake?

Try and remove spark plugs and spinn engine over and see if it will blow alot of oil out. be carefull as if you are in your garage you may blow oil all over the celling. so put something over spark plug holes to keep oil spray down. once it is not spraying alot of oil clean spark plugs then reinstall them and try to restart. If it starts it will smoke very bad for a few minutes then will clear up slowly hopefully. do not uses your starter for more than ten seconds without leting it cool down or you may burn up your starter. good luck Robin

Thank you for the information robin, I will try a little later today. Where abouts are you in florida? I have niece near ocala.
