hi guy first timer here
i have a 1995 sportster
i have power at the key.11.7 v.. when i bought it there were no fuses it so do not know if the 5 amp was blown or not . also.. when i turn my key i have no beeps or nav. lights... bildge and blower work fine. i also put in a new starter solenoid and a new deep cycle battery.. i put my meter on each fuse .one lead to the battery and the other lead to to the fuse i have 12.5 volts on all fuses.. ,but still will not turn over, when i push the start button i hear a clicking noise from them the mpem (i think) and then after about 30 sec. later there is another click

So.... you are holding the start button for 30 sec's? Or do you mean... after sitting for 30 seconds... you get another click?

Did you try to jump the solenoid yet?

yes that was the first thing i did jump the solenoid engine turns over fine have 143 on both pistions.. i push the start button down and after listening to it closer it sounds like the new solenoid .. i notice that the oil light comes on too. on the gas gauge and when that light goes out the same noise is there again.. its only last for about 2 or 3 sec. sounds like a spring is releasing

ty Dr Honda... just got her going last night yea finally.. my next question is this . I filled up my oil tank with oil last night and went out today and its gone no signs of it leaking in the hull ,,the bottom of the tank is dry.. does the boat send the oil to the gas tank and its mixed there ??? I know it sounds stupid but I can not find out were its going and at $35 per gallon you start getting pissed lol

Follow your lines from the bottom of tank... Sounds like your crank is full....are you still running the premix system? It sounds like your gasket is all the gone... Mine leaks a little... When u get it cleaned out its gonna look like a bomb went off when you start it...

I bet the lower half of the engine is full of oil. If the oil isn't in the bottom of the hull... then the Rotary valve, or center seals have gone bad.

should I start looking around for a complete gasket set and redo the motor that I just had rebuilt ??? or can I just by-pass the oil injector and go with mix gas
ty again:banghead:

If... the oil is getting past the center seals... it's not an "Oil injection" issue.

Try to crank the engine with the spark plugs out... and see if it's spews oil. If it doesn't... then you will need the figure out where it went.

yes oil is coming out of the plugs ,, turned it over to it stopped , put the plugs back into it and started it up.. omg it smoked so bad I don't think that there is a mosquito for 5 miles lol. so going bad to my question will I do any damage if I block the oil line and just mixed the gas??

T Y again

how would one get the oil from the bottom of the motor when there is no drain plug to do so
