My seadoo will turn over but will not stay on. Battery is good. Turns without spark plugs in, plugs are dry, engine seem very dry.
It started yesterday but stopped after a few seconds.
Maybe a fuel line issue? Would draining fuel out and refilling help? Gas is from September or so.
Could it be the ignition switch or start/stop button? that was my first thought as it turns over but not enough to engage engine.
Starter is new, aftermarket purchase, not from Seadoo.
I am at loss, last time I took it up to the mechanic it fired and started for him.

Thank you,

Lee Marc, stuck in the driveway

Need clarity,,,the motor turns "over" but will not fire up and run? Will it momentarily fire up if you put some "premix" into the cylinders?

Yeah...what POPPS asked?

If the motor "turns over but won't fire up....a little squirt of pre-mix into the spark holes, quickly now, put the plugs back in hand tight, re-connect the wires and hit the Start button.

IF she fires up for a moment....you got a fuel delivery to the engine issue.....chase that!

The premix recommended is a good quick test. But if the gas is 9 months old and was not stabilized I would get as much of it as possible out out the tank, gas lines and filter. Put in fresh gas and give it try to rule that out as a cause of the problem.
