I am trying to finish my last winter project..A 1995 Seadoo SPI purchased for a $150... Standard stuff done fuel oil carb rebuild.. Engine runs great.. waiting on some pump parts and mechanically it will be done...Finished a wet sand and wax looks great.... Now the hard parts.... The rear orange grab handle has black stains all over it... I have tried goof off acetone lighter fluid and just about every other thing in the shop with very little black coming off... IDEAS/?? the handle bar cover is faded on the top..(tried a small section with wipe new not good) I have done the heat gun trick on my last 2 skis (GTX)but this one this one is rubber/vinyl not plastic like the GTX's ..didn't work... can that be painted?? if so with what type of paint... plastic paint or vinyl paint...basically has anybody paint either of these two parts??? how did it come out and what did ya use...
thanks
