1995 SEA DOO SPEEDSTER 657 X Engine cuts out at high rpm

Hi everyone.

Im just looking at buying a 1995 SEA DOO SPEEDSTER 657 X.
the top end of the engines have been done and compression is good in both.

im told that one engine shuts down at high rpm because it needs a new jet pump.

Looking for advice on this, does this sound right and any idea on costs to repair????

Does not sound right to me... A bad pump will not make the engine cut out.

Unplug the rectifier and see if the problem goes away.
