Any reveiws on the 1995 sea doo hx 85? are the popular? how do they perform? and what are they worth?

Thanks

The HX was never very popular because it never really filled a niche. Although it's classified as a two person ski, it's really just too unstable for two people, it's not very stable with one person. On the plus side it's got the 717 engine which is very reliable. Personally if it were me I would look for a ski with an X4 hull and at least a 717. Like a 96XP.

This is just my opinion and it's free, take it for what its worth.

It's good that you are located somewhere in the world, SeaDoo's are pretty scarce on other planets.

First... give it at least 24hrs before bumping a thread. Especially on a Sunday during the summer. (people are out riding)

Anyway... as Lou said... they aren't popular. The are VERY narrow, and were designed for buoy racing. You can't just sit on one. Basically... it's a "Stand-up" ski with a seat.

And... I think they are only rated for one person. Every time I see one... they are over priced. Realistically... it's worth about $1500 to $1700 on a trailer, and in good condition.
