1994 spx

Hello everyone, how is everything. I have a 1994 spx that the coil is not shooting spark to plugs. How can I check if the coil is working other than from the plugs?

take off your seat and let it air out for a while..then remove the power wire form the coil and buy a small piece of wire and cut both ends of it so the fibers are exposed..then hook one end to the power wire and touch the otther to the engine block and crank the ski and see if it sparks...if it does you have power to the coil..if it dosent then you need to look elseware
