1994 Bombardier XP Trouble

A few months ago I took the bombardier to the beach off the gulf coast
As soon as i got back i took it out to flush it in the lake to remove all the salt and I took it out a few other times also
Its now been sitting around for a few months and I went to go start it yesterday and all it did was click but no turning.. I put a new battery in so its not it
could this be because the starter went bad due to some salt or engine locked due to any salt.. or are there any common problem that these skis have...
please help

hey...for it being couple months of no use, pull the plugs, spray/drop wd-40/pb blaster in cylinders, let soak for "awhile", then when done, try and turn "pto"(round thing under grey shueld) counterclockwise, see if frees up...
