1992 XP No Spark Need Help

My XP has lost spark. I have checked the fuses, kill switch, plug wires and grounds. All seem fine. In addition, I believe I have current to the coil. I tested with a AC/DC tester...which produced a good pulse. Since I don't have much experience with the electrical components, I'm in need of help. Any diagnostic and/or common failures with this ski is greatly appreciated.

one time I had a bad connection (1995spi) at the 4 wire plug mounter right on top of the flywheel housing -- one of the 4 pin connectors was rusty

Coil....

If you have power to the coil but no spark, then your coil is bad. If you don't have power to the coil, your electronic module may be bad.

If you have power to the coil, you can take off a 1/4 inch of your wire to the plug and see if this helps. Loose or corroded wires? Grounds?:cheers:

I had the same problem on a 92 GTS - the rev limiter built into the MPEM was bad. It was grounding out the coil.
