Maybe one of the ol boys can tell me how this can be, that these 2- tether switches are not the same from identical... I say again .....identical 1992 Seadoo Xp's......
and please, don't try just to make something up....lol

I'm actually thinking about disassembling both of them to make the one the right height to work....but how ridiculous.20200710_191319.jpeg20200710_191214.jpeg2020-07-10%2019.30.13.jpeg

The one on the left is the one I need ....the threads have broke off..... don't ask .... well okay ...that's what you get when you forget a tether in the middle of nowhere Wisconsin, and try to use a spark plug wire cap from an old Chevy to hold it down, then simulate it being pulled off, breaking it off....

Well, that's nothing more than the marking on the wire. It's 18/2....... That's 2 strands of 18 gauge wire that are inside that insulation. That's not your part number, if that's what you're thinking.

No I totally understand the number on the wire is not a part number but whoever said that it is the switch for the starter is absolutely right LOL well there you go that's why I asked these questions out there so no longer an issue because I actually just converted that one by replacing the parts switching them out and making it now a kill switch witch is working very well out here on Lake Michigan!

I knew I would get the answer from on this awesome forum thanks again
