Whats up guys,

So I got the machine to fire, but when it starts, ill give it a little gas... then it seems like it just loses fuel and dies out ?

any suggestions?

I already cleaned the fuel filter and bowl...

2000 Seadoo Starts, then is bogs out also

I am having an identical problem. I'm a first time owner, just bought machine and don't know much about these machines. Will be working on it throughout this week, if I find out anything, will let you know, please do the same. thanks!

Cool

Will do, ran myself into another problem, when trying to get it to fire over and idle, I sucked a rope from the dock into the impellor, so now, I have to remove the bottom cover plate off and get the rope out...I was working on it in the water and filled the thing with water, flipped it over and it just sunk....not having good luck so far...need a beer thinking about it....
working on it tomorrow or the next. will keep ya posted.

Update,

Got it to run .. although its running a little rough, I adjusted the idle speed screw on the carb and cleaned the spark plugs out.... New battery, fired right up... so far so good....

94 Bogs down only when wet?

Similar issue on my son's Doo Doo, starts fine, revs up fine on the trailer. Put this puppy in the water and try to accellerate and it bogs down, sometimes engine fails. New plugs, clean filter, fresh fuel, etc. Any ideas?

If it has the gray fuel lines they need to be replaced. They deteriorate from the inside out and clog the carburetors internal filters. Clean the carbs too, while you at it... be careful not to damage or tear the diaphragms or you will need a new rebuild kit.

Keep us posted.

Clear fuel lines on my '94

Mine has clear fuel lines, so should I replace, then dig into the carb still for that little embedded fuel filter, or go the route that another poster suggests that possibly my wear ring on the pump is bad, since I had to replace the drive shaft carrier bearings late last season?
