1990 Seadoo Gtx Bombadier starter

Hello,
I just got this GTx 3 person and it has not been started in 3 years. So my starter is bad. Do I need to pull the whole engine in order to reach the bolt on the bottom or is there another way to access it without going through all the trouble of removing the motor? Also I cant find anyone who sells the starter within that year. So what kind should i be looking for?

shouldn't have to, but is tight down there. Swivel extention/coupler helps...
