1989 sp kill switch

Hello to everyone, first time poster/seadoo owner.
We have a 89 sp that is new to us. Wife took it out today and rode for a bit
hit the kill switch when she came back to the dock. Afterwards it would not start. I checked for spark and there was not any. So I started checking around and figured out the kill switch was the problem and now it will start.
Where do I find a replacement switch?
While I'm at it, is there another year that the seat will fit mine that has a handle at the rear? She has trouble getting back on after a uh......lets just say involuntary dismount.:ack:

second part

i'm new to jet skis, we bought a 90 and 91 seadoos sp's. anyway i came across these the other day for getting back on. they are a bit spendy, but i'm thinking about putting these on mine too. in case the wife ever goes fast enough to be "pushed" off by the machine.

As for the seat, I have seen these spring loaded steps that you attach to the back of the ski. It's a banner ad that pops up on our main page sometimes, but I didn't see it when I went back to look..........
I just clicked on the link from post #2, that's what I was talking about. May be worth your bucks, if she's having a hard time.:cheers:
