19 year old needs help with fuel lines

Hello all,
I took my dual carb system out of my Jet ski (1996 XP with a 787) about a year ago and then in the middle of my project I moved to college and am now finishing what I started. I rebuilt the mag carb and had to buy a new BN40I PTO carb. I have got everything hooked up and the carbs mounted. I just cannot remember how to attach all the fuel lines. There are arrows on the side but all the videos I watch has the two nozzles in the back connected with a fuel line. The carbs I have has an "in" arrow on the back of the mag carb, an "out" arrow on the front of the mag carb, an "In" arrow on the back nozzle of the PTO carb, and an "out" arrow on the front nozzle of the PTO. All of that makes sense to me (Hint the connection between the carbs) but I am not sure how to connect the other two nozzles. Something just does not feel right and I want to do it right.
