Does anyone have their boat in a boat house? with straps I assume. Are their specific locations to have the straps on the hull? My dealer said under the steering wheel and roughly 3 feet in from the stern

Straps

I keep my boat in a Marina, under a roof and lifted by straps. The way mine is configured, I line up the bow strap about a foot forward of the top of the windshield, and my other strap is about three feet from the rear of the swim deck.

So I have my stern strap about where your dealer recommends, but I am about a foot to two feet closer to the bow than your recommendation.

I went with what my marina recommended, they have been in business over 35 years and never had a boat drop.
