$1700 double ski purchase, few questions to get them going

I picked up a 1998 GTX Limited with 100 hours and a 96 SPX with what should be low hours also the skis were ran together and owned by an older couple for many years. Both sitting on a decent double trailer too. So far checked them out briefly to see what worked and what didn't, both have been sitting for many years.

Start with the SPX, it has 145 psi in both holes and it actually fired right up when I put a good battery in it. VTS inop, boot torn, and gauge is full of moisture. Not sure what to do with this ski only wanted the GTX to go with my 96 GTX. If I could flip it for about 600 that would give me the money I need to fix up the GTX or I could go through it all and rebuild fuel and oil system, buff it, and replace wear ring but how much would It sell for vs they cost of all the parts needed to do the job. 500-600 investment to cash in on maybe a couple hundred more dollars?

GTX is going to get full fuel system rebuild, and oil system rebuild, bought a clean hood for $75 locally, will need a seat cover and a buff, pump will be removed to be gone through also. Tried to start it but no go, no fuel at all to the cyls, plugs dry. It does have spark and I sprayed a little starting fluid and fogging oil at the same time and it fired up for a second. That was good enough for me to know everything is working on it except the fuel system. 140 psi in both cylinders!

I don't know anything about the 951 engine so I have a couple questions.
Can I get the carbs out without removing the exhaust, any tips on this?
This engine has a balance shaft I believe, and does it have its own oil source that need to be serviced?
Any advice on what product to spray on the engine and in the hull to clean it up before I start to work on it.

I have been down this road before with my 96xp that I just sold, and have rebuilt everything on my 96 GTX except the engine also so I have a fair amount of experience with these old skis but I am always open to any advice or suggestions from someone more experienced than me.

On the 951 to remove the carbs you have to do it blind, you could use a little mirror bit for me it is easiest to just feel around for the bolts.
No need to change the counter balance shaft oil. If you really wanted to their is a fill plug.

The balancer oil should be changed and is part of the service.

The carbs can and should be done without removing the pipe.

Castrol Super Clean for the engine and engine compartment.
