Hey guys I had my carb rebuilt on the port side of my 97 speedster. And it still stalls when I pull skiers and tubers upon acceleration. It idles and runs fine most of the time. But when I hammer on the throttle it will stall, happens most if the time when pulling people. I check the compression and it is 120 and 135. Does it sound like its the problem? I really want this fixed for next season. And plan on starting the project this coming week. Any help would be great.

135 psi is the lowest % of compression that motor will still run reasonably well at, any less and you're really short on HP and risking things coming apart from seizures or worse as it gets weaker. In your case it's time to at least remove the top end while it's all in one piece and evaluate it for rebuild.

Is the gauge you used a known good one? Test again with another and see if different results.
Cold engine and WOT?
120/135 isn't that good actually.
