My 07 Speedster 150 (155hp) has never "recharged" the battery properly. Prior to a day of boating, I have to unhook the battery from the boat's electrical system, externally charge it to max voltage, and then hook back up to the boat. After a few hours of operation, the 12 volt LOW light begins blinking and the beeping begins.
A P-code has popped up before, but I can't recall the #'s - sorry! I can't prevent the 15 amp fuse located near the solenoid from blowing.
I've replaced the stock battery with a yellow top optima and had the voltage regulator replaced recently. Obviously, neither was a solution.
What testing can I do to isolate the problem and then FIX IT!!!
