"12 v low" problems

Hey ya'll. Need your help, again.

99 GTX Limited with the 951 carbed motor.
Replaced stator when I got the ski. ( shorted to ground )
Has new battery that is charged.
No blown fuses, but has a 12 volt low warning light flashing.
Getting ready to go check it out to see what I can find beyond the fuses not being blown.

Any suggetions??

Have your battery tested.

If that is good than more than likely you have a bad rectifier which is part of the MPEM. You could spend big bucks getting a new one OR buy a external rectifier kit. If you have trouble finding it let me know.

Thanks. I am going to test the battery and retest the stator, just to make sure.

Just so I know, how difficult are the external recifiers to wire up?

Where can I get a good replacement for a Reg 98 GSX Lim? I found one site for $100 but not sure that is a good price?
