Here are some pictures

Started at 9 am at Watson Island in Miami. West South to Lighthouse thats 8 miles South from land.
Then back around Key Biscayne cutting through Stiltsville to go North to get more gas to go further North to Ft Lauderdale!!!!!
Then all the way back South to the boat ramp.

One hell of a ride but we had the best the conditions than the the last 4 outings to try to make run to
Fowery Rock(Light house)

I'll tyr to upload video after I try to edit straight runs

Nice, but it was 93.17 miles....so you're not part of the 100 miler yet:) :)...but of course you are still waaaaaay ahead of me, I only did 52 miles my only time out on a big ride with the jetski Junkies.

Great pics, but it looks like a metal junkyard down there. I like photo 49 with the "in-between wave" shot.
What kind of camera?

Sweet Oscar! I like that map. I just did my route using that site. We took the Speedster out today and did roughly a 35 mile run round trip. Thanks for posting the link, and sweet pics!

SDB I don't have exact coordinates but it was 100 or more.
Video/pics GoPro Silver

I had half a tank gas and added 30 bucks at 5+ gallon
My BIL's FX SHO also added 30 buck.

The seadoo has a 9 gallon tank.

He even carrys extra 2 gallon tank in the front.

Very funny story.
A few weeks ago I'm at dealer matching gunwales that I'm changing from grey to black I overhear guy saying how he wants to go offshore.
I comment get that one. A SHO. I then say otherwise get a VX but that one is a little much of a nut buster. The sales girl says "oh we are not looking for a VX" so I walk away
Then I hear guy say where is the reference chart for the seadoo. I say oh oh he's buying the Seadoo to myself
I walk to the service department in the back and on my way out I don't see him anymore to tell him to buy FXHO or FXSHO.
He buys the 215 SC GTR white/orange
:svengo:

Ends up being same guy which is my BIL neighbor........

He says the girl was pushing the yami but he went with the Seadoo. He Already has newer Challenger with twin 215 SC.

Guy got sick at lighthouse. Lost is breakfast. Said he went out the night before and hadn't slept
:conehead:
He got some food back at Haulover and felt much better.
He never rode anything like that before .
:D
He actually learned quick and felt comfortable. Granted conditions we very favorable............................
I told him he graduated riding academy 101 and 102 in one day
I never did both runs. Going through video now or soon...........................

Oh and I came back with another 1/2 tank left.
My BIL on fumes with warning going off.
Seadoo was under half.

We made it from inlet to inlet in holding it WOT w/o letting off!

Very nice. The longest I've done was around 50 mi in one day. (as a destination ride)

Hey... off subject... but how do you like your Yamiha? I keep thinking about a newer 4-stroke ski... and honestly... I can't bring myself to even think of the new Seadoo's. Even the basic models are overly complicated, and the real stopping factor for me is the closed loop cooling. Over the last year or so... I've looked for a "Project" seadoo 4-tec... but the ones I find with a popp'ed engine... guys still want $5k for it. (just crazy)

Tony,

My yami has been nothing but reliable (mechanically)
I bought two of them after I sod the two GTI's.

Pick them up use for ~3600 the one in the picture(2006) and a another one red/white(2005)
Was scared in the beginning after having to pay to remove engine for 200 engine mounts.

While you can find a good used machine with little hours some basics have to be looked over.
1. corrosion if alt water ski.
2. mid shaft seal know to leak Doing that now myself after buying a CL hoist. $200 in parts, ~$600 in labor
:cuss:
3. Buy Yami vs Seadoo. All the bells and whistle of Seadoo does not compare to the 1000 hrs Yami has under they belts.
4. Most and all service items can be done other than engine rebuild but that would not affect you.
I've seen thread on PWCT where major damage happens and its a mater of getting bad parts out. Replace head, hone cylinder and put
it cank to together. Kinda of like a Bmann special.........
5. New they come under 10K for base VX deluxe or cruiser. The FX HO is a cadillac and better suited for long nice cruses with power to match! All Yami's are open loop which is great IMO.

Nice run.

Glad you had good weather along the way.

I will take a good look at the pictures later today.

What is the max depth your GoPro can go.

Headed to Cozumel and would like something like that.

In the waterproof case 60M. Good lighting and closer pictures better than scenic ones.

Good info, thanks much.

I can easily dive deeper than 180 feet but in those cases I am doing so for a specific reason.

Most recreational diving is 90 or less so the GoPro would do fine.

Thanks for the pics,,,

I did the Tough Mudder and volunteered the next day to help out. I was more than tender come Monday.

Had a blast though.
