Hello all, first post
I just picked up a left over 2008 challenger se 430 hp. I had some questions which i mostly answered myself by searching the forum. I see that the dealer has to do the 10 hr service, fine. My question is will it throw a check engine light or anything at 10 hours?
I asked to bring it in tomorrow to do the service because of time constraints this weekend BUT I think im only around 6 hours. As of this weekend i think ill be right around 10. The dealer told me NOT to bring it in until I hit 10 hours because it will throw a fault code that will need to be cleared anyway.
I know I know, i should have had a timer or something going since i bought the boat, but Im kinda screwed now. The 6 hours is pretty much a total guess. could be less, could be more. really frustrating.
Fyi ive used about 2 total tanks of gas ( a little less) since i bought the boat. varied throttle with a few (maybe 10) short bursts at WOT (1 min bursts)
