It has been a while since I have been on the forum but i do want to say thanks for all your help. I bought the utopia 205 this year and knew I was going to make some mistakes along the way. I was trying to do the right thing and do the 10 hour service like the manual says to keep the warranty valid. My first mistake was to assume that all sea doo dealers would charge roughly the same price. I was wrong, I have only 2 dealers within 60 miles that can do the service. when I got the bill for $ 550 I almost sh--. When I called the other dealer and asked their price they told me $ 345. Can they charge that much difference? Shame on me for not checking! The other problem is that my depth finder is not working so the place that charged the 550 says they will fix it under warranty no problem but the other dealer said they cant fix it because i did not buy the boat from them. It doesnt seem like these dealers and sea doo are on the same page. I hope all is well and you guys are having some fun on your boats. thanks again for your help

Dino, it doesn't matter where you bought you seadoo. The warranty is good at any seadoo dealer. The dealer gets paid for warranty like any other service. If they have that kind of attitude...I would look for a different dealer. I know here in Florida, dealers are scrambling for repair work. It's their bred and butter so to speak.
