I have read on here about people being able to adjust their ride plates to help with porpoising. Does anyone know if I can adjust the ride plate on my 2009 speedster 150 255 hp.

I think you can buy aftermarket ones - though not sure if it would help. Others have added a pump wedge but this apparently does not have the same desired results on the Seadoo boats as it does on the skis ie it makes turning dangerous.

I have the same model and the only time I have expierenced porpoising was in choppy conditions (more to do with the waves than the boat).

Does it do it on calm water?

Any chop bigger than 10cm or so I need to play with the throttle to get a smoother ride. The Speedseter is definitely not an ocean-going boat and the hull design (lack of any real V), the low freeboard and light overall weight of the boat all make it prone to the slighest chop. I've read the larger Seadoo boats cut through the chop better than the Speedster whichtends to bounce along.
