hey guys i havent posted on here in awhile but reason being my boat has been in the shop since aug of last year bc the supercharger failed and sucked all the metal into my motor..the boat had 49 hours at failure..now they fixed the engine and supercharger and now i take boat out for the first time and since i got it back last week and a rod comes out the side of the block after 2 hours..

so they havent fixed the supercharger issues completly yet so i would sug still rebuilding every 50 hours or so to be sure even with the new x charged boats..

im taking it back to the dealer tm and hope to have them fix it asap or buy it back and give me a new boat at this point

Out of curiosity, what do you use your boat for the most? Skiing and wakeboarding, or riding balls to the wall, jumping waves and having fun or just simply riding around at 35mph, mostly? I only ask bc my boat with 30hrs still has the ceramic washers and I use it to ride around in and wakeboard. Other than that, I really baby the thing, being very cautious not to let the boat get air born. I have not heard of this problem with the metal washers yet, and frankly, that worries me that it can still happen, even after I decide to change them out.

Do a search, several of us have had blower problems. First time out after the 10 hour check my blower let go. 3 weeks in the shop I get a new blower. About an hour run time the motor shuts down, low oil pressure. The dealer didn't flush the block, and 'blower bits' had plugged the oil pump. 2 weeks later I get the boat back. A few days later it quits again, again, low oil pressure. THANK GOD FOR ARIZONA LEMON LAWS. I gave the dealer 2 choices: 1. a crated engine of the new 255hp version, or 2. but their boat back. Since I'm very happy with the little Sportster BRP saved a bunch of bucks and installed the new engine. Got a new engine with an extra 40 hp and a 5 year extended warranty. I'm very happy with Bullhead Power Sports, BRP Corp, and everyone else involved.

I use the boat for wakeboarding tubing and occasional speeding around but I was very careful not to over rev if the boat became air born..I'm also giving then the option of new engine or new boat that's all I lOve the boat but this is unacceptable

When we bought a boat with 215hp and a blower we weren't going to putt it around. It is usually balls to the wall, or the motor is turned off. We figured if we wanted to go slow we could have saved a couple of grand and bought a pontoon boat.

I can understand your point and agree but running anything balls to the wall all of the time is going to result in a problem(s) somewhere down the line. In my opinion the components that are put into these things are not always the best choice and you have to consider that when you are running hot. I'd rather be running and having fun than sitting at home waiting for the shop to call and say the latest repair is done.

Agreed!! And well said!!

Well i got a new crate engine installed and took the boat out and it won't turn left...I pull the boat out and the steering cable has come out of the sheath that it runs in..took it back for the 5th time this year and they tell me that cables are wear items and not covered under the best warranty..so that's more money I'm out but they are running out of things to replace so hopefully it will be ok for awhile
