I just got 2 VX110 yamaha's and one of them has been ran up on some rocks and now it won't take off... Kinda like a clutch slipping on a car, it just revs up... Can someone please help me?? Just point me in the right direction.
Thanks in advance

i dont know much about yamaha , but im pretty sure its the same principle. There is a plastic wear ring around the impeller. Wen you suck debris in, its gets gouges in it. Those gouges allow air to be expelled out the nozzle which in turns make the engine rev and you get less thrust. Feels like a clutch slipping. A new wear ring usually fixes it.

It ended up being the impeller, it has a Solas CONCORDE 18/22 on it, I am sending it to SBT to be rebuilt. Thanks for your input
