Hi. I just bought my 2008 Sea-Doo Challenger 180 with 6hrs as a Bank Repo. I took it out on the lake and could not get more than 5mph @ 2800rpm on the full throttle.
I pulled the boat back on the trailer and started the engine the rpm's will rise to 8,000. It seems that while in the water the engine does not have enough power to push the boat or it feels like something holds it back. The engine works great and does not show any fault codes. Should I check supercharger?
I took the ride plate out to check on the impeller if the was a problem. The impeller spins freely when I took the impeller housing out.
I also broke coolant fittings that are attached to the ride plate. I removed the fitting and it has a OEM P/N 293710114. Does any one knows where I can get those fittings? I checked on line at sea-doo dealer parts finder and it does not show that they sell separate. Where can I get them?
Please any feedback will help.
