Took it out in the bay (salt water) today for a few hours. Very fun boat. We started to go out into the ocean but with the wind and waves we were getting soaked so we truned around and went back in. (My girlfriend's daughter was sitting in the bow area and loved getting soaked but it was little cold out).

It's a very nice riding boat. Didn't get on it too much due to the break in but had a good time. I am very impressed with the boat.

Can't wait to take it to the river/lake in 2 weeks. The dealer gave us a free weekend in Laghlin Nevada so we are going to go there and boat down to Havasu one of the days.

Quick question. I have read many of the postings on the flushing. I have the Sea Doo flush kit. I ran it for about a minute with the hose on. Is that long enough? Also I got a little confused if I can leave the male part attached to the boat. I did and drove it around today with it in there. I would imagine that the flush hole doesnt do much when you are driving the boat because I doubt that part is even in the water when you are up and going. Is this correct?

Thanks

Yes leave the mail fitting on the boat and I'd say the minute is enough flush time. I run mine maybe 30 seconds. Just remember the proper sequence.....Start engine........connect water...........Disconnect water.........Stop engine.
