07 GTX speedo not working?

I noticed this morning that when the seadoo turns on, the speedo reads, but as soon as you go, it stops working. Any ideas?

Check to see if your paddle wheel is spinning freely and is not jammed.

+1, there could be trash in the paddle wheel. see if it spins freely
