06 sportster 717 compression

Your ?, is...starter not turning with plugs in, but will turn all day when plugs out...?
New battery, alright, hows the connections at starter,and ground connections?

everything looks fine thinking its the starter correct or not

took starter apart found it was bad replaced still wouldnt crank put wrench on shaft turned. i heard metal in the lower end took everything apart and found sark arrestor bolt had fallen through carb through the rotory valve and into the lowere end binding everything up. now im waiting for the new parts to arrive. also found the motor mount on the right side had seperated so there being replaced.
