Seadoo was running fine until it got flipped.
Very little water got into the hull, maybe a half inch, I checked for water in the oil, pulled the plugs and cranked the engine to make sure no water was in the pistons. The water has since been emptied out, and I left the hull open for about 24 hours.
I also pulled the intake off and made sure the supercharger impeller didn't spin freely.
I still hear the supercharger and hear it spooling at low RPM's, but the seadoo itself sounds like it is running extremely rich (low engine tone). On the hose it revs past 5500 no problem, in the water it wont.
When I had the intake off to check the supercharger there was quite a bit of oil in the intake tube, but I couldn't get to the air filter (or even know where it is) to see if it is wet or soaked in oil. I'm hoping this is the case.
Spark plugs looked OK, one might be on the verge of being fowled, but I don't think it was near enough to cause this much lack in power, especially since it was obviously the flip that started the problem.
I also checked all of the clamps and hoses to make sure I didn't have a boost leak (although I wouldn't expect it to be running that rich until WOT with a boost leak).
Also there are no indicators of an engine fault (audible or on the display).
Any other opinions or things I should look for? I'm about to go drop it off at a dealer, and would appreciate a second opinion.
Thanks in advance,
Craig
