Family went out on the Islandia today and wide open things were just not right. Both engines would only produce about 6800 RPM wide open, and we had a top speed of around 35. Typically I see about 7100 RPM with top speeds of around 45 MPH. I checked the speed via GPS as well to eliminate the speedometer as a point of failure. From the best I could tell today nothing was clogging intake grates. Boat was last run 6 days ago with no problems at that time. We did some tubing today as well and things seemed sluggish/loosing more speed in turns than the normal, but this could just be perception since I new something was up. It also seemed that if we held around 3000RPMS the engines would both surge +/- 100rpm. Again this could have always done it and I was just more aware looking for issues. The only thing that has changed is the boat was on the water the entire time, when we usually trailer it. No warning lights/etc... and same loading as we usually have, bilge was mostly dry, and with only about 1/2 tank of gas.
