tryed to start boat sat. won't turn over, got new battery won;t turn over. put boat on trailer pulled plugs engine turns over but full of water. oil still good. dryed motor put plugs back in and started but now water in oil, changed oil and filter 3 times until oil was clean. put boat in water ran great just like before sat. tryed to start boat on sun. won't turn over full of water again. when run on trailer no hose connected ran less than 1 min. no loss of coolant at all. Any ideas would be great thanks

So you are saying you get done driving the boat, pull it out of the water and take it home and next time you start it the engine has water in it? Are you doing any kind of flush with the hose when you get it home ??

no flush and didn't pull the boat out it sat overnite and hydrolocked. should have tryed to restart after using on saturday but thought all was good.

So it sat in the water all night.........Did you do any kind of exhaust mods on the boat? Somehow water is entering thru the exhaust and filling up and then dumping into your exhaust manifold and past your valves. Post a few pics of your engine and exhaust routing.

So the engine compartment is dry and no water in the bilge either after sitting all night?

Do you have the 155hp naturally aspirated engine or the supercharged 215hp engine?

I agree it would be helpful if you posted a couple pics of your engine...

No way water could be coming in except thru the exhaust UNLESS maybe he has the SC engine and the intercooler is split??

exhaust valves corroded? water vapour past the valves?
when there is water in the oil, dont you have to boil it out? as per the procedure in the manual?
