05 Seadoo Sportster 4-Tec Rotax not starting in water

Ok, boat is still not starting in the water. We have charged the battery that was in it and tried that. Still did not work. I ran to the store and got another battery, and it still did not work. Yet it is starting easily out of the water. Does this make any since??? Please help, we would love to be able to ride it this weekend. Thanks!

I had the same problem with my 97 GTI last year. Check your compression... I'll bet it's not what it needs to be. The back cylinder on my engine was shot. It had enough umph to start out of the water but not a lick in the water.
