'05 RXP~~display reads high temp??

I have an '05 RXP (215 HP) I had the battery charging for a couple of days, I reconnected the terminals, then started the engine, after a few seconds it started beeping and the display reads HI TEMP. Anyone know why?? The engine is nowhere near hot at all.

Welcome to the seadoo forum isellcarz. I Would check the temp. sensor for either a bad connection or a bad sensor.
Keep us posted on your progress.
