Hey all, new to forums here and have a particular problem with my sportster.
First of all, while attaching lanyard i do not here the usual 2 beeps Then it will not turn over but engages the fuel pump. I checked all fuses and its all ok. I also get a quick blast of 4 beeps every two seconds. I have read this pertains to the position of the shifter lever not being in neutral. I can confirm the neutral position but i cannot get the beeps to go away. Upon restarting, same results.
Has anyone had similar problems or have any experience with neutral start switches? Is this a common thing to go bad?
