04 Speedster 200 problems

Boat was driving ok, felt play in steering then all of a sudden boat started drifting left. Now have to steer to 1:00 to go straight. Not as nimble when turning either direction.

Stretched steering cable?

Any idea of difficulty in replacing? Can’t seem to find any tutorials online to see if I can tackle this myself.

I would think (not positive) you'd disconnect the old from the helm and attach the back end of the new to the helm end of the old and pull the old one out through the rear which would then feed the new one through the hull.

But, I'd confirm the cable is the culprit before dropping a few hundies on a new one.
