I have researched this a bit an it seems like a pretty common issue. The boat won't steer to the right at operating speeds, but seems fine at low speed. I'm wondering how hard the cable is to replace and if there is anything online that shows the process. Any suggestions or advice would be appreciated. Thanks

I've never seen a write-up on how to change it. It's pretty straight forward. Remove the old cable... replace. The only thing that makes it hard, is that's it's an islandia. So, it's a big cable, and goes into places that are a stretch to access.

If you get hung up while trying to change it... give us a yell.

I would plan a couple hrs of relaxed (non rushed) work. So, wait until evening.. grab a beer... and start.

If it was me... I would go into the engine bay, and cut away any zip ties first... so it's loose in the hull. THen I would disconnect it from the nozzle, and pull it into the engine bay. I would then tape the new cable to the old cable very secure. (use the old cable to pull the new up to the helm) Then... from the helm... disconnect, and pull the new one up. (A helper pushing at the other end will keep it from pulling out of the tape) Then... reconnect at both ends. You may have to adjust the ends so your wheel is straight to the nozzle.

That's about it.
