03 Challenger 1800 - Stereo Upgrade Time!

Hello Peeps,
So, after 6 months of getting a bunch of work done on the boat, it's finally time for me to start planning out my stereo upgrade and I need some advice/help. I've gotten lots of help so far so keep it coming.

Here's what I know I want to do:
New head unit, 4 speakers, 1 amp, 2nd battery.
Down the road, I'll more then likely add 1 subwoofer, MAYBE 2.

I am thinking the Kenwood D559BT/ I want to go with (4) Polk 6.5's 651 UM's and have the Rockford Fosgate M600-4D as an amp.

I'm obviously going to put 2 speakers where the stock ones go, but I'm torn as to where the other 2 will go. Either between the bow and the cup holders along the outside walls facing inside the boat, or on the front of consoles above the cup holders facing towards the bow - suggestions?

Is 4 speakers enough? I would possibly go 6, but think 8 is overkill for me. The other two could go down under the consoles along the same wall as the stock speakers? And for now, I'm just interested in the 1 amp.

As far as a battery switch, I would like it to replace my current switch in the boat. I started another post yesterday and the advice I was given was to look into the Utopia 2nd battery threads but I am apparently the worst searcher ever - no luck.

Any help to getting this all sorted out would be great - thank you!

Josh

Post up and interior pic of your boat if you can...makes it easier for me to visualize. I am sure I can give you lots of ideas.
