02 GTX DI and RX DI Battery Problem

Hello, i have a 2002 RX DI and a 2002 GTX DI. They have been stored in my garage over the winter. Their batteries went flat so i tried charging them with a trickle charger. They show about 10 volts and wont charge any higher. When i attach the key i can hear a faint click but nothing happens ??????? Also, the seadoo keeps beeping until i take the key out. any ideas on what the problem is would be greatly appreciated.

Hi,

From what you say the batteries are shot. Under no load you should get a voltage reading of 12.5 to 13.5 volts. You probably have a dead cel.

Take the battery to an auto parts store and ask them to test it.

Replace both batteries and to keep them from goin bad again get yourself a battery tender and put it on the battery when not in use my jet ski and both my atvs and motorcycle all are on tenders and never has a battery fail yet and atv battery is 5 years old and they are hardly used
