01 GTX shuts off

I have a 2001 GTX, I’ve owned it for 3 seasons and I recently had it in the shop to have the carbon ring replaced. For the first time it indiscriminately shuts off. I pull the DESS key and put it back in and it starts immediately. It happens maybe once or twice a day and doesn’t appear to happen during any specific time… just shuts off.

Have you tried cleaning the post and lanyard?
