Removed intake system to clean carburetor on 2001 GS 717 engine and upon reinstalling the top cover it won’t compress the gasket enough to slide the latches to hold it on the bottom piece. Didn’t touch the gasket when I removed it. It looks like the gasket is oriented in the channel incorrectly...
