Unable to reattach the electrical box top. The top will not sit on far enough to allow the two clips to engage. Is there some trick to this?

Any suggestions on where to find these part numbers and supplier for new or used parts would be greatly appreciated. We're glad he's not hurt but now need to get the bike back in shape. Thanks!!
