OK checked voltage at the battery with ski running...12.3 volts By the way the battery is less than 2 months old...

Found rectifier...any way to check it out of the water? Ski does have grey fuel lines that i am changing out. Also did a compression test as suggested-155/150 so that seems good. Going to work on getting carb cleaned up as well.

i cant find any info on where the rectifier is located...have a shop manual but does not show clearly. Can you help? Thanks!

I have a 97 GSI with120 hours on the clock. Bought used beginning of last year. Towards the end of season began having acceleration problems...checked fuel for water, replaced fuel filter and plugs...no help. Found the gasket missing on ignition box cover and found coil to be rusted so...
