    2000' 240 efi manual?

The second manual from the top should be the one you are looking for. The bottom Merc manual is for the newer style. It's also not unusual to find wires that are unplugged. The Merc came in a lot of different boats with a lot of different options, so not all wires should be plugged in. Sounds...

    engine replacement

I clicked on them to check and they seem fine, neither my antivirus or spy-ware programs picked anything up? If anyone else has trouble with them I'll get rid of them. Aaron:cheers:

    Towing with lowered truck

Measure the height of the trailer when sitting level and then compare that to the height of the hitch on the truck to find the difference. The ball mount you have the link for should be fine upside down, as long as your tongue weight is within the specs for it a hitch shouldn't care what it's...

2004 Utopia 185 smokes like crazy when accelerating

Rereading his post, I think the smoke may actually be steam due to fairly bad cavitation. Almost sounds like the impeller or wear housing are worn and with the boat loaded heavy it cavitates bad can't get up on plane and the smoke (steam) is due to a lack of cooling water due to the cavitation...

    impellar shaft question...M2

That's normal. The Stator is the rear support for the drive-shaft, so without it the impeller will rest against the wear housing. Aaron:cheers:

    M2 drive stator seal removal/replacement

The Mercury seal puller part number is 91-83165M, but you should be able to gently pry the seal out. Just be sure not to get in too deep with your pry tool or you risk gouging the surface where the seal sits in the housing. If you do, you may have to replace the stator. To reinstall the seal...

    M2 Flywheel Cover - 2 pieces???

Yeah, supposed to be one piece. The smaller tunnel directs air through the small filter to the air compressor for the injection system. Just grab some good silicone like 5200 or something with some holding power. If you can't find anything else, even pl400 construction adhesive would likely work...

    Pump for servicing m2 jetpump

Part number should be 802891K2. Any Mercury dealer should be able to get you one for under ten dollars. If you don't have a local dealer they're on EBay all the time. Aaron

    Need help winterizing challenger 2000

Same procedure for either. I believe the 200 and 250 were DFI, and the 240 EFI. Aaron

    Need help winterizing challenger 2000

You don't need antifreeze, my Utopia went through several winters in Calgary with the temperature below -30 with no problems. Here's a thread that details winterizing the Merc. http://www.seadooforum.com/showthread.php?t=36499&highlight=winterize Aaron

    Stator maintenance

Put the shifter in forward and use a fluid evacuator or pump to suck the oil out thru the fill plug. Once it gets to the level that is to low to remove any more pull the drain plug and do the same thing. Once you have all the oil out put some thread sealer on the drain plug and fill the Stator...

    Where is the fuse box

It's behind the seat back in the bow section in front of the driver. Just lift up on the seat back and it will pull off. There is also one "dart" style push clip at the front of the seat back that you pull straight out to remove. Aaron:cheers:

    Rookie101 is homeless!!

Well I am officially homeless......:ack: Due to the lousy spring weather in Alberta the new house I'm having built is about two months behind schedule, and the possession date is here on the old place. So it's off to live in a basement for a couple of months with everything in storage. This...

    two "Blown" superchargers

You don't need to replace the superchargers, just put new washers and beairings in them. The bad news is both the engines will have to be pulled and dissasembled to clean out the remains of the old ceramic washers. If your dealer tells you otherwise you'll want to find somewhere else to take...

    Lakes around the Calgary area

Would love to, but I'm building a new house and just sold the old one, so I'm not sure where I'll have the boat stored, or myself for that matter... Looks like I may be homeless for a while. Plus I bought a Yamaha AR230HO, so I'm not sure if I'm allowed out with the Sea-Doos:rofl...
